Objective
Our main goal in developing the Pisos.ad application was to create a tool that would become the ultimate reference for finding sales and rental opportunities in Andorra. This meant offering users an exceptional experience exploring more than 3,000 properties exclusively in the Principality.
We wanted the app to become the first choice for those searching for their next home in Andorra and looking to discover new buying and rental opportunities, making the most of all the benefits a mobile app offers, such as easy access and the configuration of all types of push notifications.
The Challenge
One of the most significant challenges we faced was adapting the design of the Pisos.ad website into a mobile app. This required the optimization of the user interface for smaller screens while maintaining the brand consistency and functionality of the web platform. Additionally, we needed to set up push notifications to keep users informed about new properties, which involved complex technological integration.
Another major challenge was ensuring a usable interface and an exceptional user experience. This involved creating intuitive navigation, where users could find properties that matched their needs and preferences quickly and easily. In this regard, once the project was completed, we can affirm that usability and user experience were the two main challenges that defined the success of the app.
Defining the User Experience
To address the user experience challenge, we developed a strategy that served as a roadmap for the design process. We created a carefully structured navigation map that allowed users to efficiently explore the wide range of properties, offering the best possible browsing experience. We prioritized simplicity and clarity in the user interface so that users could filter results and find exactly what they were looking for quickly and easily.
Additionally, we implemented a feature that allowed users to communicate directly with agents and property owners, speeding up the resolution of inquiries and scheduling visits. We also added the option to save properties as favorites and set up alerts to keep users constantly updated on new listings.
Technical Solution
In the development process, we chose to use cutting-edge technologies. Specifically, we utilized the .NET and Flutter frameworks to create the Pisos.ad app. The benefits of this choice include faster development speed, flexibility, and the ability to deliver a high-quality user experience. Additionally, we ensured the security and privacy of our users'' personal data through encryption.
